A Message from Executive Director

It’s 10pm on a Thursday evening, and our team of Videographer Kevin Hewitt, Writer Chris Kassel, and Associate Producer Ben Logan are on our final leg of our journey back to Detroit.  In the last thirteen days we logged 26,000 miles, spent over forty hours on an airplane, and walked throughout the many boughs of the Indian streets and old village roads of this majestic country.

This very intensive production will help define the story about the Asian Indian community of Detroit.  I invite you to read and look through the production photos of our journey of your homeland, created by Chris Kassel.

I am very excited as the vision is now becoming very clear for me as the Executive Producer on how I want to tell your story.  We have all been magically touched by your country and am proud to be producing Our India Story for Detroit’s Asian Indian community.
